It’s no secret that Jeremy Plumb is a “virtual encyclopedia of information” on cannabis, a moniker given to Plumb by Antony Michael in his new piece for Yahoo Finance.

What may be less well known is Plumb’s desire to reframe not only our understanding of cannabis, but also the language we use to speak about it.

In the aforementioned article and accompanying video, Plumb expounds upon the origins of the word “marijuana” as well as the shifting cultural views of this beloved yet stigmatized plant.
